2. What are intended uses?

  • Primary computing instrument: It is much powerful than any other calculators.
  • Casual use: such unit conversion, use of super calculators for various and all purposes.
  • Research tools: Many questions are built to deliver instant results and save time.
  • Professional use: Computing tools for each profession can be added for public use.
  • Learning tools: Students of all grades may use the system to verify their answers and alert them of wrong results.
  • Teaching and Learning: Deveop a different kind of problem-solving capability that will last.
  • Understanding health issues: help the public understand health issues in numbers and will improve citizens' understanding of health issues from descriptive terms to scientific terms. Taxin, carolies, blood sugar content, metablic parameters acquire special meanings only when they reach specific numbers.
  • Understanding environment issues: understand air quality, water safety, food quality in numbers rather than using description terms which have little help.
  • Since this is new method, most of new uses are unknown.
  • 3. What is the data input format?

For any data point or input box, you may use 12, 12.34, 2+(3-1)*6/5, 2*10^3, log20/40, sin40, (1+4)/19, log50/sin40+1.23/10^5 or more complicated mathematical or arithmetic expressions. For statistical and linear algebra projects, you may use ',' ';' or tab as delimiters between any two data points as long as you use them consistently. You may not use space, ',' or ';' WITHIN a mathematical expression. You may double-click on any input box to delete the data that your enter previously, enter new data and press "Compute" for re-computation. You may delete all entered data by click Clean Form.

There are two data input forms. Large input boxes for entering copied data so that the user does not need to enter hendreds of data point one by one. Forms with individualized input fields are for human manual input.

    4. What are system's specifications and limitations?

  • Computing accuracy: double precision or 15 digits precision (Results may be rounded off in final answers.
  • Maximum number of variables: 8 fields, each holding 300-characters (expandable if there is real need).
  • Maximum number of constants: 12 constants (expandable to any reasonable numbers).
  • Data block number and size: 8 blocks, each holding upto 1000 data points of 100 characters, with 8 constants and 18 result fields for output.
  • Result data format: In any format, digital values, and non-digital statements.
  • Project upload: users can directly upload computing projects if needed mathematical equation is in the method table.
  • Graphic capability: Yes (temporarily disabled)
  • Other features: Some features are temporarily disabled.
  • The specifications may be changed to meet public needs.
  • 5. What if I cannot find projects for my purpose?

If you cannot find suitable projects, it may be because you use improper search keys. Many computing projects are shared by peoples in many fields. For example, the computing projects for computing solution concentration or dilution are used in many fields including chemistry, biochemistry, biological science, animal science, pharmacy, medical lab....). It may also be because nobody has created those projects yet. You may send us a note indicating the need for such projects. You can even create one by yourself.

    6. What are the advantages of the Online Computing System?

    It has the following advantages:

  • It has the most user-friendly interface. Your old/existing choice would be to find any of a large number of computing software packages. You buy one, install it, learn its basic and user interface, and use it. This method can reduce costs, time and chance of errors for users. It can drmatically improve work efficiency, shorten project life, and achieve more for less.
  • It is the most convenient system. Whenever you have an Internet access, you can sovle problems. You do not need a calculator and do not need to know the details about each computation.
  • It is the most accurate system because it can take care of units, equations, constants, and operation steps automatically. For example, if you want to convert temperature, you type in a temperature number, you do not need to remember constants and equation. The result cannot be wrong unless there is an error in the computing method.
  • It is easiest to correct key errors. The user interface allows users to see entered data so that the user can correct any noticed errors quickly. In comparison, if you use a calculator to compute the sum of ten numbers, you may get three different reuslts in three rounds of trials.
  • It help users avoid doing intermediate computation. The user can enter expression as a single number to avoid a step of doing intermediate conversion. For example, interest rate may be entered as "(120/45)*0.4". This also allows the user to reduce errors.
  • It is the most complete computing system because it is designed or intended to meet all conceivable computing needs. However, the realization of the full potenetial will depend on the help of all users.
  • It can dramtically improve the research development productivity. Nature of research is to solve any problems that could appear under the sun, and the researchers kept using basic algorithms. When researchers cannot find required computing methods, they may have to solve problems manually. They may spend hours to days to solve a problem that could be solved in less than a minute by an existing method. Many computing methods might have been developed tens to thousands of times, but could not be found in reasonable times. Even if the methods are found, they cannot be used to solve problems because of lack of user interface and compilation environment problems). It takes time to create executable forms for use. When researchers could not find required methods, they might write ones. In essence, researchers keep reinventing the same methods (e.g.,“wheels”) again and again. Some wheels might have been reinvented by the public thousands of times (e.g., computer science students code a particular sorting method for practice). It is possible that identical wheels have been reinvented by different researchers in the same work room. Still, a vast number of wheels are lost, abandoned, misplaced, or could not be modified for new use. Agusolv has solved this old tough problem. We now make a new rule: any computing methods invented by any pubic members will be available for future use by future researchers. Our method changes the time scale of performing basic problem-solving tasks from hours or days to a minute.
  • The computation capablity is the useful form for the internet. Every computing capablity can be delivered and passed in the internet. Thus, reserch papers, reports, news articles, product evaluation instructions, product design papers (blue prints) and all online media can embed links that allow users to evalute subject of their interest in numbers.
  • It is totally free for everyone of the users. The founder intends that the vast of computation fuctions are free for public users.
  • 7. What are the disadvantages of this Online Computing System?

Since all public members can create computing projects, it may introduce errors in the projects. However, the users can avoid this potential problem by noting if a project has been verified by anyone and whether the project has been in use for a sufficiently long period of time. If the project has been more than two years, it should be accurate. Unverified projects are clearly marked at the end of its computing data input form.

    8. How to use this Online Computing System?

Please see the page of Learn.

    9. How to upload a computing project to this system?

You may open a free account and upload computing projects directly. Other two methods are uploading a large number of computing projects, and uploading special/complicated projects. If the computing algorithm is unique, the user may upload it in any complier language such as Java, C, C++, Basic. In this case, the projects uploaded with computing source code cannot be deployed real time at this point of time (and this may be changed). Please see page "Learn". This part of functions are under further improvement.

    10. What is the reward for the user who uploads a computing project on to this system?

The contributor will be acknowledged each time the project is used by anyone.

    11. Can the contributor delete an uploaded computing project?

No. Uploaded projects become the property its owners. It will deleted for being duplicate or have foundamental flaws that cannot be curred.

    12. Does the Computing System warrant that computing result is accurate?

There is no warranty of any kind, not even the warranty for merchantability and the warranty for fitness for a particular purpose. All users are presumed to consent to the Terms of Use published on the site.

One thing you can prove for yourself that the accuracy would be higher than you could achieve by using tradintional method due to five types of common errors: wrong constants, wrong units, wrong equations, wrong operation, and invisible key errors.

    13. Who owns this Online Computing System?

A private group of people run and own this online computing system.

    13. Does anyone have any IP right to the Online Computing System?

One of the founders invented this online computing system. A U.S. patent has been granted, and continuation patent applications has been filed in the United States.
